Nike has announced the kick off of its annual grass root initiative for football, the Manchester United Premier Cup, and its popular Indian leg will be conducted from 19 January to 4 February. This year, the fifth series in a row, over 65 teams from across the country are vying to be the Indian finalists. The competition, which is open to footballers under the age of 15, has gathered global momentum and attracted a cumulative participation of over one million players with over 9,000 teams from more than 43 countries.

The India finals will be played at Duler Stadium, Mapsa, Goa.
