Global news agency Reuters will provide extra coverage of football via a website launched this week. The website, reuters.co.uk/football, is to provide in-depth coverage of the English Premier League, Championship, Leagues One and Two and the FA and Carling Cups. It will also include the latest football news from the major leagues and cup tournaments in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia. The new site will combine breaking news and photography from Reuters and Action Images with in-depth match and team information and commentary. It will also feature football news feeds from publishers, web portals, bloggers and companies across the internet via aggregated feeds from real-time online information service provider Moreover. “This site will bring together the reliable and authoritative reporting of Reuters specialist football correspondents and enable football fans to enjoy a wealth of information that should satisfy even the most avid of supporters,” Reuters sports editor Paul Radford said.
