FIFA development officer and women's football consultant Yap Nyim Keong has arrived in Guam to collaborate with club representatives, coaches, players and athletic directors who are interested to create a strategic plan for women's football in the USA Pacific island territory.
Topics to be discussed over two-days at GFA headquarters in Harmon, include the status of women's football on Guam since the FIFA women's football seminar in Manila in 2006, experiences of women's football development in the Asia region and Guam; the purpose and methodology of preparing strategic plans for women's strategic plans for women's football on Guam through interactive workshops sessions; key areas for assistance and support such as FIFA, AFC, GFA, and other partners and to agree and prepare the next actions, responsibilities and timelines for the development of women's football on Guam.
