The Vietnam Football Federation will pay its national team 300 million dong (US$18,700) as a reward for the AFC Asian Cup co-hosts' 1-1 draw against Qatar, Vietnam News reported. Thursday's draw came after Vietnam had stunned United Arab Emirates 2-0 in their opening Group B game last weekend, earning them even more money with an unexpected win bonus. The Vietnamese team has so far picked up almost two billion dong during Asia's premier tounament.
