Three people were killed and around 50 others wounded in Baghdad on Saturday when football-loving Iraqis fired weapons into the air to celebrate their team's 2-0 quarter-final victory over Vietnam in the AFC Asian Cup. Police said the victims had been killed and wounded in different parts of the capital. In Bangkok, Thailand, Younis Mahmoud had scored twice to take Iraq to the semi-finals of the tournament for the first time since 1976. "Now we dream to be champion," said Jorvan Vieira, Iraq's Brazilian coach. "We have a right to dream, but we have to keep our feet on the floor."
