India and Bangladesh will hold an annual club soccer friendly tournament, the Bangladesh Football Federation has announced. Each country will take it in turns to host the Ganga-Padma Football Cup, named for the Ganges and Padma rivers and eight leading clubs, four each from Bangladesh and India, will take part. "Our long time desire is going to be fulfilled," the chief of the All India Football Federation, Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi, told reporters in Dhaka.
